Day 1 – Addis Ababa (The new Flower)

Arrive at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport and transfer to your hotel. This day you will have a city tour of Addis Ababa. The journey starts with a tour of the capital city Addis Ababa, literally means “New Flower”, Africa’s undisputed diplomatic capital, Headquarters of the African Union (AU) and the Economic Commission for Africa (ECA). This day you will visit Holy Trinity Cathedral Church and National museum. Overnight: Hotel


Day 2 – Bahar Dar (Lakeside Town) (UNCC-AA):

In the morning fly to Bahar Dar; up on arrival transfer to hotel for check in and make half day boat cruise over Lake Tana for a visit 14th century ancient island monasteries of  Azwa Maryam. In the afternoon, you will drive 35 KM to visit the majestic Blue Nile Falls. Overnight:  Hotel


Day 3 –Bahir Dar - Gondar (The Camelot of Africa)

In the morning drive to Gondar upon arrival after lunch start visit the 17th Century capital of Ethiopia called Gondar, start visiting from the castle compound (UNESCO WHS) and King Fasiledes Bath, and continue to visit Debre Birhan Selassie (The light of Trinity) church. Overnight: Hotel.

Day 4 – Gondar - Lalibela (The Eighth Wonder of the World)

Fly to Lalibela, transfer to hotel 26KM from the airport. Check-in hotel, start visiting the 11 rock hewn churches of Lalibela located in 3 clusters. Among this famous church of St. George which is carved like a cross out of the red rock is superb. The churches of Lalibela are UNESCO recorded world heritage sights and mostly visited by tourists. Overnight:  Hotel.


Day 5 - Axum (Mysterious Monoliths)

In the morning fly to Axum, a town of more than 3000 years of history. From the palace and tomb of king kaleb (6th C, AD) we will visit the extraordinarily Stella’s filed (WHS) and tomb of king Remhay (1st to 4th C, AD). Followed by the a trip to the church of St Mary of Tsion, (17th C, AD the present church) in which deposited the Arc of the Covenant, then drive out of the town 4km on the way to Gondar where you walk up to see rock carved lion and palace from where the Stella were hewn-some still lie there, half finished. From here we can visit the palace of queen of Sheba, late in the afternoon drive to your Hotel. Overnight: Hotel.


Day 6– Axum - Addis Abeba - Departures

Fly back to Addis Ababa. This day you will enjoy shopping in the city and visit African biggest market Merkato. Late in the evening fare way party in one Ethiopian traditional restaurant where you can see cultural music and dance too. Transfer to airport for your departure.

  1. Celebrity Ethiopia tour’s liability to passengers carried in its own vehicles is governed by the lows of Ethiopian all claims are subject to the jurisdiction of the court of Ethiopia in which the cause of action arises.
  2. Celebrity Ethiopia tour reserves the right to employ subcontractors to carry out any or all parts of the services agreed to be supplied, and in any event of the exercise of such right the terms of cause (relating to Celebrity Ethiopia tour’s liability shall apply).
  3. Celebrity Ethiopia tours and its agents act only as agents of Passengers in all matters relating to hotel accommodation, transport of tour by Air craft, boat or any other means, and shall not be liable for injury, schedule change or delay, loose or damage arising from any cause and in any manner whatsoever.
  4. While every care is taken, Celebrity Ethiopia tour cannot be held responsible for loss of damage to baggage or other personal belonging.

Payment

  1. 1.      Celebrity Ethiopia tour’s accept agency or individual requests for tours.
  2. 2.      on confirmation of tours, agencies making booking with Celebrity Ethiopia tour’s shall make payments as follows:
    1. 40% up on confirmation of the tours.
    2. The rest 60% balance 60 days prior to the commencement of the tour.
    3. If complete payment has not been made as per above; Celebrity Ethiopia tour’s is not obliged to accept the client /tourists to conduct the tour unless other arrangements have been beforehand

Cancellations

Cancellations of tour bookings must be made in writing, and are subject to the following charges:

  1. from 60 days to 31 days prior to arrival an administrative fee of 10 %     will be charged
  2. 30 days to 15 days prior to arrival, a fee of 50 % of the tour price will be charged.
  3. Cancellation made within 15 days prior to arrival, no refund will be made.
  4. Trip cancellation and baggage insurance is recommended.
